Emily, Harris, and Jack made a quick trip to Ohio to see Em's cousin Meggan Anderson before she becomes Mrs. Ontario Britton. We spent the day with Marie's family at her house in Greenwich. We also got to see Kristen, Basil, and Aunt Andrea. Harris and Jack loved Marie's house-- it's a great house for kids, and they enjoyed playing with the older cousins: Katie, Alex, Emma, and Beth, who were all very patient with their wild ways. The quilt pictured is the quilt that Aunt Jeanne and Kristen put together for Meggan with help from Grandma Nelson and Aunt Ellen. Mom and Dad packaged it up and sent it while they were visiting in Utah.
The little boys and I are looking forward to flying out to Idaho later this week to spend about a week in Nampa while James finishes finals. He'll meet us out there on the 16th, then we'll all fly to Austin, Texas on Christmas and spend the rest of the break with the Murdocks. We return to Pittsburgh on the 4th of January.
Drum roll, please....
And now, we are pleased to publicly announce the upcoming arrival of our third child on or around May 21, 2007. We will find out its gender at the ultrasound scheduled for January 6. We will keep you posted. We are very excited and grateful for this unique little person to join our family.
We are also grateful for that little baby born in Bethlehem, who is the source of all happiness and love. We hope that all of you have a joyous holiday season filled with the true spirit of Christmas.
